Musicians Against Homelessness - Royal Bedding Day

OUR SPONSORS

In 2016 Ralph responded to the clarion call by Alan McGee and Musicians Against Homelessness, organising an all-day music event in Zoo Bar, St Helens with a stellar line-up of local talent.

As most will be aware by now the redoubtable Jack Russell that was Ralph sadly developed cancer and passed away last year so there was no Ralph's Life event.

Well young Brian has now joined the team as the face of Ralph's Life and he's stepping up to the plate to organise another Musicians Against Homelessness event as part of their Royal Bedding Day campaign.

"In response to the recent news that the streets of Windsor will be cleared of homeless people MAH announce THE ROYAL BEDDING DAY on the same day as the royal wedding. We ask all of our supporters and friends to join us in putting on as many music events as possible across England, Scotland and Wales to support homeless people and to make a lot of noise!

This is a call to put the focus on the poorest in our society; the number of homeless people on our streets is rapidly escalating and it’s a national disgrace. Thousands and thousands of people are in desperate situations with a recent report stating that one in every 200 people are classed as homeless or living in unsuitable accommodation."

Olivia Parr is a hugely talented young songstress from St Helens who has only just started out on her journey as a songwriter. Her vocals have delighted audiences locally, including a performance at Ralph's International Day Of Happiness event in Central Library, St Helens last year. She's gonna be a star!

Image may contain: 1 person, playing a musical instrument and guitarStu Oggy is a stalwart of the St Helens music scene not only singing solo but as front man of Titors Insignia who have previously donated their time by playing for Ralph's Life at a charity event for mental illness awareness in London's proud Camden and also for Musicians Against Homelessness in their hometown venue, the late lamented Zoo Bar in 2016. They will now be playing The Percival Suite for this years Royal Bedding Day Event.

Stu has fronted bands for nearly 20 years now and has decided to plow his own furrow as a solo artiste. We're delighted that he has agreed to deliver his unique gravelly rock tones with the band at Brian's Musicians Against Homelessness event in the Ruskins Club Percival Suite..
