London four-piece PAVES are set to release their new single Baby via the reformed This Feeling Records, digitally as of now and on limited edition 7” vinyl on November 17th.

BABY is an upbeat, ready made guitar classic that wouldn’t be out of place in a feel good, Hollywood rock n roll movie. Speaking on the track, the band said, "Baby went down a blast all summer. It stood out at every festival we performed at, as the track punters got into the most. It's got that summer vibe, so we only felt it natural to release it with This Feeling who have supported big time from day one."

Needless to say Ralph's giving the track a spin on the Radio KC Indie Show Sunday 29th October so remember to tune in from 5-7pm on rkc.noip.me internet radio.

Paves are the London faces of Britain’s new rock and roll movement. When they’re not bringing their Stonesesque swagger, with what Clash describe as “wah-wah flavoured guitar matched to some scorching vocals", live on stage, they’re out nearly every night in support of their musical peers. Literally, the faces of the scene; Luke Shield (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Mike Whitaker (Lead Guitar), Perry Read (Bass and Backing Vocals), Tom Triggs (Drums).


This Feeling Records is the instinctive next step for one of the UK’s most influential names in guitar music promotion and have played their part in the rise of the likes of Catfish and The Bottlemen, Blossoms, Cabbage, and more.

The London 4-piece have gone down a storm at Isle of Wight Festival, TRNSMT & Tramlines, playing to packed stages.

Small Victories

Formed earlier this year, London three-piece Small Victories are already on the verge (November 4th) of releasing their second single for our listening pleasure. 

It's called Paint The Picture and it's a thumper of a guitar-driven, bass-heavy, drum infused, full-on and in your face indie tune. It'll be getting a spin this Sunday 23rd October) on Ralph's Radio KC Indie Show.

Small Victories are Nick Thomas on Guitar/Vocals, Andy Faulkner (formerly of the late-lamented IC1s) and Louis Matthews (previously Furs & Masks) on Bass.





Small Victories debut release Future was enriched by their varied influences which range from Garage Rock, through Shoegaze to Psychedelia and they've built on that with Paint The Picture to produce an assured and infectious Indie hit.

Small Victories have already played a string of live performances to no small amount of critical acclaim and have a not-to-be-missed single launch coming up in the iconic Water Rats in London's Kings Cross for This Feeling on Saturday 5th November.

Rivertairs

Ralph's recently played English band Rivertairs on his Radio KC Sunday Show thanks to a heads up from Blue Soap Music so thought it was a good idea to investigate their voyage of musical discovery in which they channel influences from rock n’ roll through to psychedelia to create what they describe as - 

"a soundscape of many colours".





Rivertairs musical odyssey began at Warth Mill in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, where passion and persistence weaved together an exciting prospect. Having a variety of influences from The Kinks to Small Faces to The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger to Temples, they write songs containing vivacious vocals, whimsical guitar parts, punchy bass lines, shimmering keys, vintage beats and shaking tambourines - which led to the creation of their first three-track demo, 2013's Fool’s Parade.

A number of gigs, which included a support slot for nineties Liverpool band Space and a show with the illustrious UK music promoters This Feeling, where the band gained praise from BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Chris Hawkins.

Rivertairs are producing a catalogue of new music. Jack is the first of some new songs to be released; a tongue in cheek vignette centered on the infamous Jack the Ripper.

Describing their new single, Rivertairs say Jack is - "a suspenseful sonance plucking the strings of imagination". The release is accompanied by a deliciously dark video.

The band released the video to accompany Jack at one minute past midnight on 31st October 2014 to celebrate Halloween. 

Jack will be available as a free download from the band's website from November 10th 2014.

Sisteray - She Likes The Drama

Sisteray have been making big waves in the indie/garage rock scene since forming in 2012 however 2014 seems to be a breakthrough year for the London four-piece.  

Working with producer Michael Smith (12 Dirty Bullets) at RnR Studios, the Sisteray debut EP ‘She Likes The Drama’ was released on digital format back in February, with praise from Ralph, Jim Gellatly, This Feeling, Music Week, XFM, RTE Radio, Louder Than War, Merc Clothing, Time Out and The Londonist. 







The EP followed successful debut single by Sisteray, Take It Away / Happy Endings (Double A-Side) in August 2013, which was championed by the likes of Gary Crowley (BBC London 94.9).

Big news just announced by Sisteray that will interest vinyl fetishists is that the band will release a limited edition, 300 copy run of ‘She Likes The Drama’ on 12” vinyl on the 27th of this month through Grebo Records. They've teamed up with London based Modernist artist, Terry Grant, for a unique illustrated recreation of the original CD cover. 





To coincide with that, they're also releasing new single 'Rollin' Over' for free, along with B-side 'Accelerated Culture'

They recently played their third This Feeling Club Night in association with XFM and SummerJam with Reverend and the Makers and have now announced the dates below.
