It's no secret that Ralph's a fan of guitar music, so it was with great pleasure that a copy of Roots, the debut album by The London Guitarist (aka Phil Anderson) dropped into the kennel.
It's ten tracks of new material in a proper old school rocking it out stylee accompanied by guitar playing of the highest order.
Phil describes his alter ego The London Guitarist as "blending blues, classic rock and modern expressive guitar, think Royal Blood, Jeff Beck and Cream all mixed up into a solo act".

Phil has a real 'old soul' and attributes the content of the album to his musical roots which are firmly planted in the music of the late sixties and early seventies bands who fused blues and hard rock into one cohesive sound.
He's gone further by mixing different styles and techniques to bridge the gap between modern and classic, whilst using vintage hardware combined with virtual emulations and new software to create The London Guitarist vibe.
His live performances are enhanced by adding looping and improvisation to forge his own unique sound.
