No 1: Purest
Yielding more swagger than a Kevin Shields customized Jazzmaster, the intense sounds of Sheffield guitar bandits Purest have come knocking firmly at the door of mainstream radio with new single Waiting For to be released later this month.
The Sheffield 4-piece’ debut made such an overwhelming first impression on Gary Powell of The Libertines that he, along with label partner Wayne Clarke, signed them to their label 25 Hour Convenience Store Records for their second full release.
No 2 Snippet
Colchester's favourite son Johnno Casson aka Snippet is the uncrowned king of feelgood pop-esque music and his latest album Human Good isn't bucking that trend.
Johnno takes you on a journey of "people-rich" stories that encompasses a wide array of characters including fraudsters, pimps, prostitutes, drinkers, users and abuser’s and simple everyday folk just trying to make sense of this world.
No 3: Names
Limb by Limb by Pembrokeshire-based duo Names is the follow up single to Backs Turned, a song that has already been played on Ralph's Indie Show on Radio KC. It has been described elsewhere as “a wintry soundscape with all the fluency, space and atmosphere of the Mogwai Les Revenants soundtrack”.

No 4: Lucie Barât
Multi-talented artist Lucie Barât is set to release her new single Take Me Away on 24th November via Alya Records. Being the sister of Carl Barât , of The Libertines fame, music is firmly embedded in Lucie’s blood.
Having always performed in bands, combining a love of writing and performing, Lucie has recorded with legendary David Bowie producer, Mark Plati and more recently with The Au Revoirs.

No 6: CHROMA
South Wales trio CHROMA set to release their explosive new single Vampires October 27th via Datod Records with the track already available to download.
Vampires is their first release since playing the BBC R1 Introducing Stages at Reading & Leeds Festival 2017. Needless to say Ralph's giving Vampires a spin on the Radio KC Indie Show so tune in on Sunday 5th November for the Bonfire Night Special from 5-7pm UK time.
No 7: Charlotte Carpenter
Shelter is the lead single taken from the new EP by Charlotte Carpenter and it's Ralph's favourite video this week. The EP is released 20th October 2017 on 10" vinyl and you can pre-order your copy here: SHELTER

No 8: Bad Llama
Bad Llama are an alternative rock/metal band formed in 2016 based in Burton Upon Trent.
They are both aggressive and melodic in their approach to song writing finding a unique balance in within their sound.
Influences range from bands such as Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, Tool, Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine and Bring Me The Horizon.
No 9: Bud Sugar
If you were a fan of Sophisti-pop back in the 80's when bands ranging from Swing Out Sister and Prefab Sprout to The Blue Nile and Everything But The Girl ruled the charts, then you're going to love Identify Yourself; the debut album by young, flame-haired Glasgow songstress Rosie Bans.
The album is funded by Creative Scotland and it's ethos falls in line with that of Ralph's Life regarding mental health awareness.
