Kids On Bridges

This has to be one of the strangest collaborations on paper, but it really works. The electro synths of Liverpool's Kids On Bridges meets the New Orleans Funk of Zigaboo Modeliste from legendary band The Meters, producing Say OK, a perfect feel good summer track.

Described as Beck meets Prince and so fresh you could eat it, the track has already had over 88,000 plays on Spotify thanks to Kids on Bridges' growing reputation as one of the UK's most exciting emerging bands through their top 25 iTunes hit Something in the Water and Hype Machine Number 1 When The Needle Drops.

This unlikely but inspired collaboration came about when Zigaboo and Kids on Bridges singer Christian Bragg first met at a Jazz Festival in New Orleans; their subsequent bonding over a mutal love of funk and electro was further bolstered by Christian's love of all things New Orleans. Kids on Bridges were invited to remix two tracks on Zigaboo's EP New Life and his appearance on Say OK was a natural progression.

Kids on Bridges have headlined shows at legendery New Orleans venue Tipitinas and appeared at MOM's Halloween Ball. The growing connection between the two bands led them to join Zigaboo for a jam session in London where Say OK was born.

Kids on Bridges' New Orleans Conection continues to grow; they've supported The Hot 8 Brass Band, worked with New Orleans poet Chuck Perkins and the Grammy nominated singer Ledisi.
