Stolen Haven

Stolen Haven are a band of mates who have been performing their own brand of indie music  the Manchester and Liverpool areas since last August and as proof of their pedigree they've secured slots supporting some well known acts.  Steve Craddock , Leeds Indie rockers Sunshine Underground and local singer Danny Mahon .

Panacea - Single cover art

Their words on their music..... 'our songs will stay with you with their catchy riffs and poignant lyrics'.....so here's a few of their tunes to help you make up your own mind.

'Panacea' was released as a single in June of last year and is available to buy on iTunes.  It's a catchy, lyrically interesting tune with a nice guitar riff that get's the head nodding.....

.....and to prove their songwriting and musical ability I've included 'Counterpart' which plucks at your heartstrings in time with the softly played acoustic guitar, another lyrical gem.

Stolen Haven were in the process of recording music with the critically acclaimed producer Neil Treppas and Simon Lyon AKA Ruthless producer and look forward to sharing it with you in the coming weeks and months... Watch this space for new releases and gigs!

Review.....

Nov 9th - Dry Bar - Manchester

They played the Online Festival Live gig at Dry Bar, Manchester and  shared the stage with four other bands including Ninth watch and Transition baby!

Back in September I said..... "they're musically interesting and you'll have come away from their night at The Blue Bell feeling satisfied in the knowledge these guys have put their heart and soul into their music just for you".....

Well that's certainly true as Ralph was there at Dry Bar Manchester and despite the fact there was a relatively small (but enthusiastic) crowd they ripped into an aggressive, in your face set.  From the first choppy guitar and thumping bass and front man Andy Bride's words 'It's a good day to be alive' they were in your face, tearing up the small stage with a set designed for bigger things.

Speaking of bigger things.....

Stolen Haven with Jason Manford before the Man City Game

They headlined City Square as part of the pre-match build up for Manchester City's clash against Aston Villa.  What a coup for the lads and a good chance to get a taster before their upcoming gig at Bar M in Manchester.....

.....and guess who their support was.....
