Fancy going to a festival and not having to leave your livingroom? Want to have a comfy seat, no tent or wellies to worry about and no smelly porta-loos to contend with and the best bit is the fridge is in the next room for constant beer and food supplies?
Want to feel like you wont need scuba gear to watch the headliner? Well Ralph's got the answer for you...
Battfest - The Virtual Festival - is the littlest festival with the biggest audience - the most inclusive exclusive event of the year. It's a 3 day feast of the cream of the UK indie music scene. Set in a particularly gorgeous southerly corner of the English countryside, there's a cast of about 150 people including all the musicians, crew and technical whizzes. There's also a very lucky, pampered audience, a bit like Kimberley festival but more exclusive or the Old Grey Whistle Test or Later With Jools Holland.
Battfest is all about getting top-quality indie music to the eyes and ears of the masses - making use of the plethora of new ways to reach people without having to sell out to a big corporation. It's about giving a voice to little people by getting everyone to shout the same message out at the same time; uniting indie media and creating a network that can rock the world. Over the Battfest weekend an eclectic mix of the best indie music is streamed out via a huge network of indie TV and radio to millions of ears and eyes - as the artists intended. This is not the X Factor. This is not MTV. This is the antidote - the alternative underground - all working together to bring you real, untampered-with, undiluted talent.
Right here - www.facebook.com/battfest as it's very stable and easy to watch plus, if you want to help spread the good word, you can share it on social networks or embed on a website! Together we can all shout out, be heard and rock the world!
You'll be able to view it on any device and OS, all you need is an internet connection.
