Where Does The Time Go - Boot Magna

So I'm chillin' on a fine sunny Sunday afternoon when this fine piece of listening pleasure jumped out of Twitter and filled my headphones.  It's the perfect tune from Boot Magna called 'Where Does The Time Go' for supping beer stretched out taking in the sun.  It reminds me of another tune which is stuck in the back of my head and will not come out to play....but one thing's for certain Boot Magna are bringing out some original music way beyond their tender years.

band_photo_smallTheir words on what they're about are....."We started out with the same idea in our minds, we were sick of the stagnation in the charts and the scarcity of great guitar bands on the music scene."
"The charts are dominated by American R&B nonsense and the only rock and roll bands getting a sniff are well established fourth album bands or reformed skint nineties nostalgia trips. We are of the firm belief that music is not dead and we and the other bands out there can change your mind!"

Boot Magna are.....
Craig Cowan -  Vocals
Jimmy Macpherson - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Marc Melrose - Rhythm Guitar
Alan Nisbet - Bass
Rory Cowieson - Drums

For me they enforce what's good in Scottish music just now, young accomplished musicians creating songs that need to be heard not just on Twitter or at local gigs but on the Festival circuit where they'd go down a storm at Belladrum or Wickerman.  I'll certainly be pointing BBC Introducing in their direction for T in the Park  introducing along with Modern Faces to follow in the footsteps of The Vigo Thieves.
