Shed life......it's got a Housemartin in it's rafters

So I'm like Ok I'm game, expectin' to see a pic of some cute little bird (nowt sexist) aaand lo and behold it is a Housemartin and it's goin' Beautiful South for the winter (ok no more puns).....

  

 

.....it's non other than the leg end that is Paul Heaton.

They were absolutely delighted that Paul agreed to take a slight detour to the shed whilst touring the country by bike to celebrate his 50th birthday on the 50/50 tour. 50 venues 50 miles apart totalling 2500 miles.

After a tough ride, wind and rain have been an added difficullty on this 
tour, Paul restored himself with a pack of Haribo and was soon into the shed giving them three fine renditions including a cover of Stevie Wonders "A place in the sun"

It seemed somehow apt that the former Housemartin was so at home in the shed.

If you get the chance why not spend some of your hard earned beer tokens and go and see the man himself on what's left of his British tour before he literally does head down south (well down under actually) to tour Australia in October.  I'll be sellin' my collection of Bonio (no not that guy from U2) so I can get a ticket for Liverpool in December.
